Yognidra is a form of guided meditation which is not sleep or concentration but a process to open the inner chambers of the mind started by Swami Satyananad Saraswati.

It is recommended to practice it in Shavasana mudra on a yoga mat or bed. It can also be practiced in a relaxed chair and not a straight chair. The place or room where this is practiced should be without any disturbance. The requirements are: 1. Use headphones 2. For Tratak meditation, you can use a candle or diya. Please follow the instructions of the speaker. The meditation is in Hindi language.

In preparation body has to be brought to a relaxation mode. The meditation further takes you deeper into inner self, which helps the body and mind both to relax.

This meditation is good for people with sleep disorders. It needs to be practiced for 7days to begin with and then extended up to 21 days. The real benefit of the meditation will be evident after practicing it for 21 days.
